Learn to Catch Seafood Tour from Adelaide

Catch and Cook Seafood Tour, from Adelaide

Aussie Journeys

Do you love Australian seafood and want to learn how to catch and cook your own seafood, fresh from a beach in South Australia? Australia is famous for our fresh seafood, and in this seafood catching tour, we teach you how to catch and cook your own fresh seafood. It’s safe, lots of fun and also delicious with our cooking demonstrations right next to the beach!

These catch and cook seafood tours can focus on 3 different types of seafood:

  • Squid/Southern Calamari Catching (Sunset tour, best in warmer months)
  • Crab Catching (During summer months is best)
  • Cockle Gathering (November – February during season)

We take you to the best spots that offer a safe environment for catching seafood, and which also allow us to explore some scenic nearby spots. Your group will all be given all equipment and shown a demonstration about how to catch crabs, squid (southern calamari) or cockles. We may have lunch or a BBQ dinner – and if we have been lucky enough to catch some seafood, we put on a cooking demonstration and cook up the fresh seafood that we caught.

Next time when you are with your friends, you can go out and enjoy our scenic Australian beaches with friends – and catch your own seafood! It’s a beautiful Australian past time that is both relaxing and deliciously rewarding!
